This week A.June recommend about writing the blog. The information must be regularly post. If you have to get the word or message from source, you have to put the quotation or give credit to that. You also have to interact with your friends because this subject is Social Computing ,so you should have social with other people to share idea. Example you can comment to your friend's blog or post something that relate to this subject in the group. A.june tell us that we should know the father of human computer interaction (HCI) is 'Ben Schneidermanm'. This lecture A.june emphasize about the Usability Engineering.
Usability Engineer
The definition of usability engineer is cover all the thing of engineer what to do. It's not only software but also hardware. Especially, focus on trend, user interface, icon base design etc. The icon base design is interesting. Maybe you don't need the message under the icon ,but you will know by the design what does it mean.
- Usability goals and user experience
Another thing except effective, efficient, easy to learn that very important is easy to remember. I think that make it simple and easy to remember is better than has many function but hard understand to use. User experience goal is depend on satisfy, help, fun motivation etc. that A.june mention in the lecture. But all of these things, the key word is to response the emotional. Another thing that important about user experience is to design a new thing that interest the user and the GUI (graphic user interface) has to be suitable.
- Usability Evaluation
There are 4 techniques that can estimate the usability of engineering. First is Quick and dirty that mean quick to access but dirty. Second, you have to record user performance or you can say 'usability test'. You can separate the usability test into 2 main
- Field test : Just give the product to customer and then interview after the customer it.
- Testing : You can use video, make direct observation or log for the activity.
Third, Field studies is to determine what the user actually do. The last is Heuristic. Heuristic is like at first you don't know but you try to find the answer by yourself and then you will see through out what it is.
- Usability Attributes
It also important for the usability of engineering. You have to measure what is going on after use the interface. How long when it execute? How many error happen? or you can check or make evaluation to measure how many person like your design. Then you might check how many user ask for a help after you the interface.
In my opinion I think that Usability Engineer is important and you should emphasize it very well because it behind many evaluation of technology. You have to make understanding for it ,then you will get the efficient of work. So, that all the idea what I thinking about the Usability Engineering.

Social Media Report
This picture show the rank of social media in 2012. I will analyze each social media. You will see that Pinterest growth up more than other social media but the users and rate of return rather not good. Facebook has the most user in other social media because it's very popular. I think you know why many people use facebook and I also use it. But the growth of facebook was low. Twitter is so far so good. It also popular in social media. The last is google+, I think it good but I prefer facebook more. The reason that google+ does not popular because people stick with facebook and they think their friends are on facebook more than google+.
