This assignment our group discuss about web design by use the usability of engineering that relate to the technology that we choose. We choose 3 technology; Retina Support, Minimalist Landing Pages, Large Photo Background

             First, Retina Display Support. Retina Display is the word that creates by Apple for call High Resolution Display. They call "Retina" because pixel density of display is higher than human eye can identify. For basic they must has double (x2) resolution. They started on iPhone 4’s screen and after that other Apple product going to use this e.g. iPod, MacBook but that it not only Apple, it start to go wider for another brand. Retina is so sharp and people who ever use retina display can't go back from this better experience. So it means nowadays websites must support retina display for best users experience.

            Second, Minimalist Landing Page is the method that base on business website. The purpose is to sale their product to customer. So, The web-designer need to design his website to make customer but the product. The design of product must look good, easy and clearly .The Principle of Minimalist is “Less, but better”. It means that use less elements but look modern and not too flashiest. According to the Usability method, Minimalist is satisfied to the users, motivating with aesthetically and effective to use.

            The last technology that we choose is Large Photo Background. We can separate the background into 2 parts. First, we use background for interpret the substance. It uses to show the benefit information that relate to the substance. Example, if we have website about travel, the background may show the map and also show the prominent point for each place. We think that show in the picture is look more interesting and attraction more than show in words. Another example is website about the camera, not only the details of the camera to show in the website but also show the special functions in the form of background. When the customers look at the background, they may realize the new idea suddenly. Then, they can go to page special function and buy the camera. Second, we can use background to separate kind of information. Example, we want to sell the books on the website. We just put the information and price of books on the page. For the background, we can use the pictures that divide in each type of the book. So, we can easily find the book because we don’t need to read in the book what kind is it.

            After we study usability engineer in the class, we know how the engineer have to do to cover all the things that response users. We have to find the idea to make some thing that different from the past generation. We also see through out what is the trend of the user and try to make the user interface attractive and interesting.
